Laura Rutledge, RN, WHNP-BC
Laura joined the MOGA family in 2007. Along with her southern accent, she brings almost twenty years of clinical experience in women’s health care from adolescence through menopause. She completed her undergraduate studies with both the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) and Rutgers University. After finished her undergraduate work, she eventually went on to work with The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where her lab contributed to research on cervical cancer. Her love for patient care, however, prompted her to return to school once again and she attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she received her Master’s Degree in nursing. She is nationally certified by the National Certification Corporation and is an active member of the Society for Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the North American Menopause Society.
In her free time, Laura enjoys watching all sports (particularly football and baseball), cooking, and needle point. She and her husband, Jeff, are blessed to have three married children and eleven precious grandchildren along with two dachshunds.
